Instagram links don't embed in Discord — how to fix Reels & posts

Why Instagram links won't embed
Instagram wants you in the app, not watching a Reel inside Discord. Logged-out crawlers — which is what Discord's link previewer is — get a login wall instead of the post, so there's no video and often no image to embed. That's why an Instagram link in chat is usually just blue text, or a card with nothing in it.
