Links that embed.
Copy a link, paste a tidy one.
Copy an x.com or instagram link and it pastes dead — no preview, no video. tdy watches your clipboard and swaps in a host that embeds properly, stripping the tracking on the way out.
It works the moment you copy.
No paste-into-a-box, no browser extension, no servers. tdy lives in your menu bar and fixes links inline.
Copy any link
From your browser, a chat app, anywhere. tdy notices the new clipboard contents instantly.
tdy tidies it
The domain switches to an embed-friendly proxy, tracking parameters are stripped, short links resolved.
Paste it clean
The tidy link is already on your clipboard. Paste into Discord, Slack, iMessage — it just embeds.
Small app, thorough cleanup.
Every transform is a toggle. Turn on exactly what you want — embeds and tracking lead the way.
Embed-friendly proxies
Swaps x.com, instagram.com, tiktok.com and more for hosts that render the video, image and title right in chat apps.
Strip tracking
Removes utm_*, fbclid, ?s=20 and the long tail of analytics cruft from every URL.
Language tags
Where a fixer supports it (X posts today), optionally append a language code so the embed arrives translated.
Resolve short links
Expands bit.ly, t.co and 1,300+ shorteners to the real destination — then cleans that too.
Your choice of proxy
Pick among the active proxies per platform, or set your own custom domain. Your choice sticks across updates.
Always up to date
The provider list refreshes from a maintained source, so a dead proxy is replaced without an app update.
Private by design
Sandboxed, no account, no analytics — App Store label: Data Not Collected. Rewriting happens on your Mac.
Out of your way
Global hotkey, launch at login, per-app exclusions (skip your password manager), one-tap undo.
The fxtwitter trick — automatic, for every platform.
Regulars know the fix: swap x.com for fxtwitter.com, instagram.com for kkinstagram.com, and suddenly the embed works. tdy does the swap for you the moment you copy — no domains to remember, no bot to invite, no extension to install.
Fix X / Twitter embeds
Videos, multi-image posts and polls from x.com paste as rich, playable cards in Discord and Telegram — powered by community fixers like FxTwitter.
Fix Instagram embeds
Reels and posts stop pasting as dead links. tdy swaps in an Instagram fixer so the video actually plays in chat.
Fix TikTok embeds
TikTok links embed with a playable video instead of a blank card — no more “open in app” dead ends.
…and more. Don't like a default? Switch the proxy or set your own — per platform.
Fixers are independent, community-run services — not operated by tdy or the platforms. A fixed link points at their servers; that's what makes the embed work. tdy curates the list, keeps it fresh, and always lets you switch.
Skip the workarounds.
Every other fix for broken embeds has a catch.
Remembering domains
Typing fxtwitter, ddinstagram or vxtiktok by hand — every single time, on every single link.
Discord bots
Need admin on the server, spam a second message under yours — and only work in Discord.
Browser extensions
Only fire inside one browser. Nothing for links you copy from apps — or paste outside it.
Your clipboard stays yours.
tdy is fully sandboxed for the Mac App Store. It rewrites links locally and only reaches the network to refresh its provider list and (optionally) fetch a link preview. No account, no tracking, nothing logged.
Questions, answered.
How much does tdy cost?
tdy is a small one-time purchase on the Mac App Store — no subscription, no account, everything included.
Which chat apps does it work with?
All of them. tdy rewrites the link on your clipboard, so it works anywhere you paste: Discord, Slack, Telegram, iMessage, WhatsApp, email, notes, docs.
What is fxtwitter / kkinstagram — and is it safe?
They're independent, community-run “fixer” services — not operated by tdy or the social platforms — that serve a proper preview card for a post. They're the same links millions paste by hand; a fixed link points at their servers, which is what makes the embed work. tdy ships a curated, auto-updated list of the best fixer per platform, and you can switch any of them, set your own, or turn domain switching off entirely and keep just the tracking cleanup.
Does tdy upload my clipboard?
No. Links are rewritten on your Mac. tdy only touches the network to refresh its provider list — and, if you turn them on, link previews and short-link resolving. Sandboxed, no account, no analytics: the App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What tracking junk does it remove?
utm_* campaign tags, fbclid, gclid, X's ?s=20&t=… share tokens and hundreds more — plus per-site rules for Amazon, YouTube, Spotify and others.
Can I keep it away from sensitive apps?
Yes. Password managers and terminals are excluded by default, and you can add any app. There's also a pause (15 min / 1 hour), and a Targets mode that only swaps the clean link in when you switch to a chat app.
Does it change text I copy?
It finds the URLs inside copied text and cleans just those — your words stay untouched, and rich formatted text is left alone entirely.
Tidy every link you copy.
A one-time setup, then it just works — quietly, in the background.
